Hello Everyone!

First of all, thank you for sharing the things you are grateful for! I loved reading all of the comments!

Secondly, Happy Monday! I have decided to make it a HAPPY Monday. I know Monday mornings are especially tough, but I am going to work on making it a good one!

Sorry for not posting yesterday. After driving home from Maryland, I had to come home and do hours and hours of work–consequently, there was zero time to blog.

However, despite all the work this weekend, I definitely managed to have some quality fun and shopping with my sister. We did a very nice job of dominating the Hagerstown Outlet Mall!

I spent less than $100 and got some serious cute items.

From Gap, I got this bright blue long-sleeve shirt. My sister got the same one. Every time we go to these outfits we have a tradition to get one matching clothing item. Since we live far apart, it is fun to look at each others pictures and recognize our sister shirt or dress. 🙂

I also purchased several Christmas presents that will not be blogged, as several of my family members read this blog!

I also hit serious shopping success at New York and Company and Banana Republic.

I bought this dress and necklace (Thank you, Hannah, for being my stylist).

My sister let me know that I NEEDED a long necklace. So I finally purchased one. I then got this winter-friendly dress to match my new necklace. Does anyone else buy clothes to match accessories?

I also bought these pants from New York and Company for $9.99. No joke.

Sorry, pants just do not photograph well!

I have been trying to embrace the legging trend, so Hannah decided to help me find a long sweater to go with my newly purchased leggings.

I think this shopping extravaganza was a frugal frog win because I got all of these items + 2 Christmas presents for less than $100.  I also have a far more positive outlook on the colder weather, since I now have new wardrobe options–YAY!

Do you like shopping? What are your favorite places to shop? Are you embracing any of the new trends this season?

I loooooove shopping! My favorite stores are Banana Republic, J. Crew, and Ann Taylor; however, I have recently fallen in love with New York and Company (especially after the deals this weekend!).

  1. You KNOW I love shopping! You got some great deals! I love shopping at the outlets because I feel like I can justify my purchases! 😉

  2. Outlet malls are great! I wish there were one closer to us (or maybe I don’t, haha). I really like Ann Taylor Loft.

  3. OOo cute stuff! I like the black dress and necklace the most, a great look 🙂

  4. Cute finds! Can’t believe those pants were only $9.99! I love LOFT!

  5. All the things you got look great! 🙂
    YES, I love shopping! 😀

  6. So Cute, I love long necklaces I always wear them when I go out. They really dress an outfit right up. I go reallllly back and forth with shopping. I think I’d rather spend my money on food, so I tend to not even allow myself to buy much when I go clothes shopping. I wish I could treat myself more though!

  7. You had a great shopping trip! I’m NOT a shopper, but if I DO have to shop, I shop frugally at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Home Goods…..etc! BUT, I am crazy over dressing on trend. I adore accessories and feel adding them simply takes an oufit from “good to great”!

  8. loveee the necklace- is that from banana outlet? I’ve done a ton of shopping lately- too much probably esp with xmas being right around the corner! i have a fashion post coming tomorrow on my new finds from j crew- can’t get enough of that store!

  9. Ooooh success! Looks like a fun trip and you got some pretty amazing deals.

I recently embraced the legging trend, too, and now all I want to do is wear my leggings. Jeans are so uncomfortable in comparison!

  10. Love your finds! Unfortunately, I can’t afford to shop for myself at the moment (started a biz & have to buy xmas presents somehow.. ugh!) but I’m loving those blues! Good thing I make tees, keeps my wardrobe fresh until I can afford some other designers 😉

  11. Leggings are so comfy, glad you got a pair! Now did you ever buy a pair of boots???

  12. I love me some Target and TJMaxx, but most of my money goes to Dick’s Sporting Goods for my offspring. What’s wrong with this picture? and since I live in Podunk, I shop a lot online, so my favorite spots are Boden, Madewell, and Garnet Hill.

  13. I love outlet shopping! Great finds! I like the sweater and leggings combo. I’ll have to find more long sweaters, too. My favorite stores are Express, Forever 21, and Ann Taylor Loft! 🙂

  14. SUCCESS to spend that much money! 🙂 You have some great items to take you into winter! Your stylist did a wonderful job, you’re going to look super cute!

  15. What marvelous finds! Wow! You will look darling in them!

I still want the cake that you blogged about last week. I’m dreaming about it! :o)
